How We Work

When you first contact us, one of our friendly team will take your details and clarify and discuss your needs. If we believe we can support you, we would then like to meet and visit you in your home in order to get a more in depth assessment of your needs and preferred outcomes and to answer any questions that you might have.

After gaining an insight into what your needs are, and your desire to progress with us, we will start to set out a structured plan of your ongoing care. Your own needs, wishes and preferences in the way you would like your care delivered will be paramount to the plan. Once your care plan has been created we will consult with you again, to ensure your satisfaction with the plan and the terms and conditions of the service before we commence support. All paperwork will then be completed, including contracts and consent forms. We will regularly review your service with you, to ensure your happiness with the service and implement any improvements that are necessary from your feedback. You will always be able to contact a member of senior staff if required, either on the office telephone number or on the ‘on call’ number, which will be operative out of hours.

We will always endeavour to achieve a good client and carer match as it is very important for quality and continuity of care, including the mental health and wellbeing of all our clients. When we first meet you we will discuss your preferences of staff, including gender choice so that we can introduce a member of staff to you that we believe will fulfil your wishes.

It is very important to us that all family members have an active role in the planning of a family member’s care, are involved and kept up to date with any changes to their relative’s health, or welfare, and that this is reported immediately, and acted upon swiftly to ensure responsive care.
